Your invitation to attend 'Health Research at UniSA'
Do you have an interest in health and medical research? This event will showcase the opportunities offered by our world renowned researchers. Listen to fascinating research stories, hear from early career researchers who are making a name for themselves, and speak with students who are contributing to our research.

Australia's outstanding young scientists
Health scientist Dr Alison Coates, bionic ear researcher Dr Mark McDonnell and pharmacist Dr Michael Sorich join a trio of other Tall Poppies and UniSA colleagues - Dr Beverly Muhlhausler, Dr Emma Parkinson-Lawrence and 2007 South Australian Young Tall Poppy of the Year, Dr Craig Williams - who were recognised last year as Australia's outstanding young scientists.

Visiting Studentship Grants
UniSA and the Division of Health Sciences introduce new 'Visiting Studentship' grants for prospective PhD students. If you are interested in starting a PhD in 2009 in the world renowned Sansom Institute, Nutritional Physiology Research Centre or the Centre for Research into Sustainable Health Care, then this is your opportunity to let the University of South Australia bring you to Adelaide!

"I have always found great satisfaction in helping, supporting and caring for others and always had a keen interest in biology and physiology. Therefore, nursing was the ideal career choice as it enables me to study something that I am not only interested in but passionate about, ensuring that day in, day out, I will know that I have a career in which I am truly making a difference."
