Teaching and Learning

Welcome
Welcome to the Division of Health Sciences Teaching & Learning website. The Teaching & Learning Team, led by the Dean, Associate Professor Ieva Stupans, develops, manages, monitors and reviews the Teaching and Learning Plan for the Division of Health Sciences.
We are active in initiating and supporting activities designed to enhance students' learning experiences and encourage good teaching. In the past few years we have hosted a number of Australia wide conferences. In 2006 we hosted “Interdisciplinary Learning for Interprofessional Practice.” To view peer reviewed papers click here. In 2007 we also hosted “Teaching and Research: making the Connection in Health Sciences (2MB PDF)”.
We are committed to enhancing students’ learning in the practice environment and provide both evening seminars and a course for clinical educators. Please see Clinical Education for details on both of these activities.
Resources for Division staff can be accessed at
Teaching and Learning (staff access only). Our website is constantly
being updated with information related to teaching and learning. If there
are areas of debate or research that anyone would like to suggest, all ideas
and contributions would be welcome.
