About the Division
In a dynamic and interdisciplinary
environment, the Division of Health Sciences moves to advance the
health and wellbeing of our community through modern teaching and research.
The Division works closely with industry, government and business partners
to educate and contribute knowledge towards the delivery of health care in
the areas of nursing, allied health and medical
science.
With significant investment in teaching facilities and
technologies, and emphasis on practice-based learning, the Division's
graduates consistently achieve high employment rates.
Located in the heart of Adelaide, the City East campus is adjacent to South
Australia's largest hospital and medical school, providing excellent access
to valuable resources. On-campus facilities include modern specialised
laboratories and clinics, including a Physiotherapy Clinic, Podiatry Clinic
and Mammography Clinic, providing students with access to valuable hands
on experience.
Host to a considerable international community, the Division has a strong
multicultural flavour and is committed to maintaining diversity.
A welcome message from
Professor Allan Evans, Pro Vice Chancellor, Division of Health Sciences.
