Student Equity in Higher Education: What we know. What we need to know

The National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education held a forum on 25–26 February 2009 that brought together a mix of key researchers and practitioners in the field of student equity in higher education from around Australia.
The forum focused on developing a research agenda for the field, guided by the theme What we know. What we need to know. The intention was to synthesise input from the forum and from the centre's own draft research program to map a broad agenda for future research in the field.
The forum was arranged into four sub-themes:
- inside higher education
- transitions and sector relations
- equitable school outcomes (including accessing higher education)
- challenging higher education.
