Redesigning Pedagogies in the North (RPiN)

This Australian Research Council funded project brings together students, teachers and researchers to develop new forms of curriculum and pedagogy in the middle years of schooling. The project aims to develop a university-school professional learning community as a 'zone of innovation' that supports educational action research projects.

The Redesigning Pedagogies in the North research project website is now located on the Australian National Schools Network (ANSN) website - About Connecting Lives and Learning

The central research question for the RPiN project is:
How can a university-school network collaboratively build professional and scholarly knowledge and practice for middle schooling curriculum and pedagogy that engages young people's lifeworlds in public schools of Adelaide's northern area?

Information about the Redesigning Pedagogies in the North research project (ARC Linkage Scheme: Project No. LP0454869) is now located on the Australian National Schools Network (ANSN) website where it is known as Connecting Lives and Learning (CLL). Simply click on the link above. The project is based in the School of Education at the University of South Australia. It is a university-industry partnership that brings together researchers and teachers in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. An extensive Connecting Lives and Learning website is now under construction and will be available for general use and access later in 2007.
