Collections

The focus of the collection relates to those aspects of the history and political times that are most closely associated with the life and work of Bob Hawke including his pre and post prime ministerial career.

Archival collection

The Bob Hawke archival collection contains the unpublished papers and other records of Bob Hawke with the major collection being original documents consisting of private papers, not deemed Commonwealth or State records. The archival collection is predominantly paper based but does include photographs, newspaper cuttings, posters, sound recordings and videotapes.

20th Anniversary of Prime Ministership (2003)

Collection relating to the 20th Anniversary of the Hawke Prime Ministership (2003).  Acknowledging the landslide victory of the Hawke Government on 5 March 1983 with Bob Hawke becoming the 28th Prime Minister of Australia.  We highlight successive years in office giving a detailed list of newspaper articles, photographs and digital collection links and other related items of interest.
