What is our Formulas for a Thriving Planet Forum about?
We have designed this Forum to be a relaxed opportunity for young
representatives from a number of fields to engage directly with Greg Bourne
on topical environmental matters and active solutions. Greg brings a
fascinating set of ‘past lives’ to this Forum, from UK public ‘think tank’
expert to Regional President of oil company BP Australasia, before he took
on his new leader role at WWF-Australia.
Attendees will find Greg to be energetic about change. The Hawke Centre
pleased to be working with young leaders of the national Natural Edge
Project to present 'Formulas for a Thriving Planet' as TNEP is focused on
balancing economy and environment.
While we are encouraging the agenda to come through the ideas and
experiences of the participants, possible issues to be discussed could
include:
- Sustainable practices
- Global issues to which young Australians can contribute
- Landscape and Water management
- Climate Change/Greenhouse gases
