Democracy, the Middle East and the International Arena

The purpose of this lecture is to raise awareness of international
affairs relevant to Australia and Israel and variously, to promote
scholarship and knowledge and to build bonds of friendship between the two
countries.

Brenda
Katten, Chair Public Affairs & World WIZO Representative to the United
Nations
Active in WIZO over many years, Brenda Katten has led major delegations
at the United Nations and is a perceptive and experienced presenter on
leadership issues. As Chair of Public Affairs for World WIZO, she advocates
training for political leadership, and women's robust political
participation. Brenda will share her insights on international democratic
processes against the charged backdrop of the Middle East.
