Ahn appointed CEO

Mark J AhnMark J. Ahn, who holds a UniSA PhD in Business Administration, has been appointed as company president and CEO of Hudson Health Sciences, a biopharm-aceutical company in San Francisco. Before joining Hudson, Dr Ahn was vice president (hematology) at Genentech. He is also a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, co-founder of the Center for Non-Profit Leadership, and a member of the Board of Trustees for the MEDUNSA (Medical University of South Africa) Trust.

 


Savoff joins law firm

Peter SavoffPeter Savoff – who graduated from UniSA in 2001 with a Master of Business Administration – has been appointed CEO of McInnes Wilson, the third largest Queensland-based law firm. Peter joins McInnes Wilson after spending more than 18 years in the international hotel management industry (during which time he worked for the InterContinental Hotels Group across Queensland, the Northern Territory and Papua New Guinea.) Peter received the Alex Ramsey Award as top of the IGSM MBA student in 2001.

 


Kenny on the way up

Sam KennySam Kenny has recently joined Readymix as a Trainee Concrete Technician. Kenny graduated from UniSA with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 2001 with first class honours, and since then has held various positions at Built Environs including site engineer and site coordinator.
In his new position Sam will be exposed to all levels of the concrete business and his aim is to reach a managerial position.
