Aussies support top spot at Cranfield

by Michèle Nardelli

Australian graduates of the UK’s Cranfield University are supporting a perpetual scholarship that will give one lucky Australian the chance to study a one-year, full-time MBA at Cranfield.

The Cranfield Australian Alumni Scholarship covers tuition fees for the MBA program, a contribution of $18,000 towards living expenses for the year and a return airfare. It is open to Australian nationals living and working in Australia. The successful candidate must have at least four years experience in the workforce and must successfully complete the Graduate Management Admissions Test with a score of at least 600.

A graduate of Cranfield University School of Management, UniSA’s Professor David Corkindale says there are about 350 Australian graduates of the school and many have contributed to the scholarship.

"This is a rare opportunity to complete one of the world’s leading MBA programs in a single year and with the financial support that makes it possible," Prof Corkindale says.

"We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about Australia and about making a contribution through business and community leadership."

The scholarship is valued at around $90,000 in total. Applications close March 2 2007. More information is available online at www.cranfieldalumni.org.au
