Connecting in 2006
Happy
New Year and Gong Xi Fa Cai. We hope you enjoy reading The Graduate in
2006.
This year we want to forge new relationships with the tens of thousands of people who have studied at UniSA – and also advance existing relationships with the many thousands of you who have maintained a connection with the University.
I am constantly impressed with the warm associations our alumni have with UniSA long after they have graduated. Whether they live here in Adelaide, or in one of the many countries around the world where the University offers degree programs, the connections are always strong.
So this year we are hoping to “reconnect” with you all in some way or another – either through the many community services offered by the University, through publications such as this one, or through some great events we will be hosting this year – including our regular free public lectures or other exhibitions and projects of interest.
We will be launching a membership card and benefits package for UniSA graduates, so watch this publication throughout 2006 for updates. More information will follow in the May edition of The Graduate, and over the year we hope to announce some innovative projects and reacquaint you with services already on offer.
Every two months, registered graduates who have provided email contact will receive an electronic update of graduate news to complement this publication and keep them “in the loop”. In this way we hope to make you feel an even closer member of our UniSA community.
Again I would like to wish you and your families every success and
happiness in 2006, and I hope to meet many new graduates as the year
unfolds.
Dr Anna Ciccarelli (Executive Director: International and Development)
