Offshore alumni celebrate

Hundreds of UniSA graduates came together across Asia in July at
three UniSA offshore alumni functions, hosted in conjunction with
graduation ceremonies in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong.
The Malaysian alumni chapter’s fifth annual dinner was held on Saturday July 3 in the lush surroundings of the exclusive Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club and was attended by 100 graduates and staff (pictured bottom right).
This year the alumni committee opted to move away from a formal dinner setting to celebrate in the Australian way – by having a barbecue dinner.
The Singapore alumni reunion on Tuesday July 6 changed venue from the Ritz Carlton to the Shangri-La’s Sentosa Resort on Sentosa Island. Cocktail food and drinks were enjoyed by the 140 graduates and staff who attended (pictured top right).
The Hong Kong Alumni Committee this year chose to hold an alumni charity night on Saturday July 10 at the Excelsior to support the Cancer Foundation.
The function, attended by 170 graduates and staff, also included the establishment ceremony for the MBA Chapter, the announcement of the winner of the inaugural Hong Kong Alumni High Achiever Award and raised approximately $A30,000 for the charity.
