Frameworks and policies
The University provides a number of structures and tools that direct, support and coordinate a successful and managed implementation of graduate qualities in programs and courses.
Framework
- Statement of seven graduate qualities adopted by the University as institutional policy for the outcomes it seeks for its undergraduates
- Teaching and learning framework outlines a strategy based around the concepts of student centred learning, graduate qualities and flexible delivery.
Policies
- Code of Good Practice: University Teaching articulates the current University consensus about the characteristics of good teaching. The first section of the policy focuses on Program and course design and management.
- Assessment Policy and Procedures Manual (including the Code of Good Practice: Principles of Student Assessment). One of the principles of assessment includes the requirement that student assessment across the courses of a program demonstrates how the profile of graduate qualities as defined by the program is achieved.
