During 1999 and 2000 nine projects around the University trialled ways in which the graduate qualities could be introduced to students. Some teams worked on a single quality such as creative problem solving, others investigated how to assess a particular skill, or how to develop a skill over three or four years of a program. Employers were consulted and awareness campaigns started.
A major goal for the University is the further embedding of graduate qualities. The sharing of results from exemplar projects is a major step forward in this process.
