Continuing a tradition of collecting toys for The Smith Family Christmas Appeal, the University of South Australia Chapter decorated boxes and set up collection points in the libraries on all 5 campuses from mid-November to mid-December.

The collection was a major success, with well over 300 toys and books collected during the four weeks. Especially notable was the number of gifts donated at the Magill campus.

Continuing a tradition of collecting toys for The Smith Family Christmas Appeal, the University of South Australia Chapter decorated boxes and set up collection points in the libraries on all 5 campuses from mid-November to mid-December.

Another notable event was when we were collecting the box from City West. On the way back to our car a lady stepped out from her car and asked if we were interested in the five bags (!) of toys that she had in her car!

Thank you to everyone who so generously supported this appeal to help disadvantaged Australian children at this special time of year. There will be many happy children who will receive a gift this Christmas due to your donations.

The Chapter would also like to thank the library staff at UniSA for their continued cooperation and support of this appeal.
