The executive committee as of April 2009 consists of:

Lauren Mullinder, Chapter President

Picture of Lauren Mullinder Lauren is a third year Graphic Design/ Illustration student at City West. Specialising in illustration, she aspires to work in the Children's book Publishing, Advertising and Scientific/Medical illustration industries. After her degree, she desires to travel through Europe and the UK extending her networks and seeing the world.

Starting with the position of Social Activities Officer and as the PR officer in 2008, organising many events and designing the new 'InKey' quarterly newsletter, she hopes to extend and improve the communication and involvement of new and current members back into the society. Having taken on the role of president in 2009, she hopes to continue that goal and see it enfold into a fantastic year for the society.

Azid Foondun, Treasurer

Picture of Azid Foondun Azid is an international student from Mauritius and is in second year Bachelor of Commerce. Upon graduation, he wishes to become a chartered accountant. He joined Golden Key in May 2008 and has since then been the treasurer.

This year, besides increasing awareness of the chapter, Azid hopes to encourage active member engagement and would like to ensure the UniSA Golden Key chapter remains sustainable.

During his spare time, Azid loves to watch soccer and chill out with his friends.

Raphael Sabu, Webmaster (temporary)

Photo of Raphael SabuRaphael is in his final semester of a BA in Writing and Creative Communication. His major focus is on creative writing, editing and publishing, and technical writing.

When he graduates Raphael would like to work as an editor and publisher and continue to write fiction.

Unfortunately, due to increasing work demands, Raphael is unable to continue on as Webmaster once he graduates. If you would like to take on this role please contact the committee via the contact us page. An understanding of XHTML and CSS would be an advantage, but not absolutely necessary (some training will be provided). Position would suit a communications student (at Magill or City East for server access) with an interest in web design.

Katie Brown, Education Officer

Photo of Katie BrownKatie is in her third year of a Bachelor of Education (junior primary/primary) and hopes to complete honours in 2009. Upon finishing her degree, Katie would like to be a generalist early/primary years teacher. She has a special interest in numeracy and French, but is passionate about all areas of the curriculum.

Katie has undertaken the role of Education Officer in 2008, and is looking forward to putting new programs into place at UniSA to enable current students to connect with tutors. In her spare time she likes to love and spoil her two-year-old daughter Rosanna read, cook, walk, swim and travel.

Erin Gold, Fundraising Officer

Photo of Erin Gold Erin is currently in her second year of a Business Double Degree in Marketing and Commerce. During the course of her studies Erin aspires to visit Canada or America, either on exchange or on a working holiday. Upon completion of her degree, Erin would like to become an accountant, but is open to wherever her experiences take her.

Erin likes to veg on her time off, and absolutely loves costume parties. During the summer she and her extended family spend time by the river water skiing and knee boarding behind their 60's speed boat 'Reza-Wreck-Ted'.

Erin has taken up the role of Fundraising officer in 2008, and hopes that her previous experiences raising funds with her family for the Variety Club Children's Charity will help her in raising money for the various causes Golden Key work with. Her ultimate goal is to raise enough money to send an extra committee member to the International Conference in 2009.

Sonia Gentile, PR/Communications Officer

She has a passion for news and works as Editorial Co-ordinator at The Adelaide Hills Weekender as well as freelancing for The Warbler, Scout SA, and GroundReport. When Sonia is not at work or uni she enjoys going out with friends and spending time with her Labrador, Oliver.
