Benefits and Skills: The experience and skills that I have gained by participating in the Global Experience program have been completely life changing. Volunteering in a developing country opened my eyes to a whole different way of life than we live here in Australia and taught me a lot about my own strengths and weaknesses. Participation in the course, Global Experience Professional Development, has taught me how to utilise the skills I learnt overseas to benefit my career, as well as how to make the most out of my experiences at University.

Through the Global Experience orientation, class lessons, guest speakers and the experience suite activities I have participated in, I feel as if I have the confidence in my abilities to tackle the real world head on and successfully upon graduation from University.

You also get the opportunity to meet industry professionals and make valuable contacts and to learn from their experience. It is also a great chance to meet like-minded peers and forge amazing friendships.
