Sansom Pharmacy Fund

The Sansom Pharmacy Fund was established to foster and develop the practice of pharmacy by supporting teaching, research and community and professional activities.

The Fund was initiated in 2001 to honour the work of Professor Lloyd Sansom and to continue his work in the field of pharmacy. Professor Sansom's career at the School of Pharmacy was long and distinguished as a teacher, researcher and champion of the pharmacy profession.

The objective of the Fund is to support the South Australian School of Pharmacy in the pursuit of excellence in Australia and engage and promote activities of pharmacy practice to the benefit of the Australian community.

The mission of the Sansom Pharmacy Fund is to foster links between the professions, academia and industry in order to improve pharmacy practice in Australia. The Fund will be used to support many projects and activities in the pursuit of excellence including: research, student access and support and professional development.
