Bonus points
UniSA Subject Bonus points
At UniSA, we believe that students who study subjects relevant to their intended degree are better prepared for university. In fact, some of the latest research shows that students who have studied content at school which they then go on to study at university, will have a smoother transition to university and greater success in their degree studies.
As a result, UniSA will reward your achievement in selected Year 12 subjects through the introduction of Subject Bonus points, now available to all Year 12 students. Through the new scheme the University will be combining your overall performance - the TER - with achievement in particular subjects. This both rewards your achievement and at the same time gives you flexibility in the career you choose to pursue.
Two points are automatically awarded (up to a maximum of 5 points) if you have a subject achievement score of 10 or more in SACE HESS General subjects (or interstate/IB equivalent) relevant to the UniSA program in which you have applied.
It is important to note that bonus points are awarded by program. For example, the bonus points applicable to the Bachelor of Pharmacy will differ to those awarded to the Bachelor of Commerce. Bonus points will be automatically added to your university aggregate when you apply to SATAC for UniSA programs only. There is no need to submit an application.
