Bonus points

Students can be awarded up to a maximum of 4 bonus points for successful completion of Year 12 mathematics studies under the University of South Australia’s Mathematics Bonus Point Scheme.

SACE/NTCE

Applicants who have completed SACE or NTCE, gained a TER and have scored 10 or more in Mathematical Methods, Mathematical Studies or Specialist Mathematics will receive 2 bonus points for each of those subjects, up to a maximum of 4 bonus points.

International Baccalaureate

Applicants who have completed the International Baccalaureate, gained a TER and scored 4 or more for Mathematics HL will receive 4 bonus points. Those who have scored 5 or more for Mathematics SL will receive 2 bonus points.

Interstate applicants

Applicants who have completed an interstate year 12 qualification, gained a TER and completed successfully equivalent mathematics subjects will be eligible for 2 bonus points for each mathematics subject up to a maximum of 4 bonus points.

 

The University also has the USANET Special Access Scheme to assist students who have been educationally disadvantaged.
