Year 10/11 students

Getting through Year 10, 11 and 12 can be challenging. You have to concentrate on study, maintain a balance between chores, exercise, sport, part-time work, family and friends, and at the same time make important decisions about your future.

Thinking about what career you would like to pursue and whether or not you want to go to university are part of this challenge. Check out the information below and on the left of this page which we hope will help guide you though this critical phase in your life.

Once you've made these important decisions, go to our Year 12 website to equip yourself with information about program choices and how to apply to study at UniSA.

Getting through high school

Be organised: Make a study timetable and stick to it
Stay on the right road: Set weekly study goals and work hard to achieve them
Practise makes perfect: Use past exam papers to practise writing and answering questions in an exam-like setting
Stay on track: To help maintain concentration, take regular breaks
Stay fresh: The best study results are often obtained when a student is well rested, alert and planned - make sure you study at a time that maximises your learning
