Postgraduate awards by coursework
Entry requirements
The entry requirement for graduate and postgraduate awards by coursework is an appropriate first degree, advanced diploma, three-year diploma, or equivalent, from a recognised higher education institution. For entry into some programs a specified period of relevant practical or professional experience may also be required. These requirements are given in the individual program schedules (go to Search for programs).
You can apply for admission to UniSA graduate and postgraduate programs either through SATAC or directly to UniSA. Please check with Future student enquiries on where to lodge your application.
Application procedures
Direct Entry applications
If you are applying for programs not processed through SATAC (Direct Entry), you will need to Apply Online. For information about applying to UniSA (closing dates etc) contact Future student enquiries. An application fee may apply for some programs.
SATAC applications
For postgraduate applications through SATAC, you need to purchase a copy of The SATAC Guide which will have a copy of an application form attached. The guides are available at newsagencies.
As entry to postgraduate programs is competitive, the SATAC application form requests information on past studies and details of relevant employment experience.
The closing date for applications to programs processed by SATAC varies but is normally late November each year. Applications received by SATAC after the closing date may incur a late fee
