About postgraduate study

Coursework or research?

UniSA postgraduate programs are offered either by coursework or by research.

We offer over 140 programs by coursework at the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters Degree and Professional Doctorate level.  A degree by coursework means you will enrol in selected courses, attend lectures and tutorials, and will be assessed progressively throughout your program. You will acquire industry and professionally relevant skills, knowledge and research frameworks to achieve your career goals.

UniSA offers research degree programs which include Masters Degree by Research and Doctoral Degree by Research in more than 40 disciplines.

A research degree advances knowledge and/or applications of knowledge through the preparation of a substantial thesis that represents a significant contribution to a particular field of study.

Our research study encourages collaboration across a range of disciplines to help solve real-world problems and contribute to the betterment of society.
