Why study at UniSA?
UniSA welcomes Defence Force personnel to its programs under the Australian Defence Force Higher Education Advanced Standing Scheme (ADFHEAS).
UniSA is one of the most progressive and innovative universities in Australia, offering a lively, modern and well equipped study environment and exemplary student support services.
Our programs cover a range of disciplines including business, health sciences, information technology, engineering and the environment, education, arts and social sciences. All UniSA programs are designed in consultation with a network of industry and professional partners, and many academic staff have worked in industry and the professions to develop and share their specialised knowledge. With expert teaching staff and strong links with industry, UniSA offers the chance to gain valuable real-life experience and specialised knowledge. In recent years we have won numerous awards and commendations for our progressive approach to education, teaching and research.
UniSA offers maximum flexibility to people who want to study. Many programs can be undertaken wholly or partially online. For further information about these programs, and procedures for admission and enrolment, go to information about off-campus study.
What credit will I get?
UniSA has a block credit arrangement with the Australian Defence Force. This means that you will receive credit towards most UniSA undergraduate programs for a completed Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the ADF. A final decision on the amount of credit you will receive will be made after you have enrolled in the program and have formally applied for credit.
Our Credit Transfer Register can provide an indication of the credit that could be offered for your qualification. If the award you have completed is not listed in this database you may still be eligible for credit. Please contact Future student enquiries for details.
Please note:
- Your ADF qualification does not guarantee a place as entry into UniSA programs is competitive.
- Certain professional programs may be unable to award credit due to registration and/or professional restrictions.
