Pharmacists are concerned with providing primary health care, promoting the quality use of medicines, reviewing medication regimes, and controlling and supervising the distribution of drugs.
What direction can this take me?
Pharmacists may specialise in a number of areas and can work in:
- Armed forces
- Community practices
- Government organisations
- Hospitals
- Pharmaceutical industries
- Research organisations
Any Year 12 prerequisite subjects?
Yes. You will need to successfully complete SACE Stage 2 Chemistry. Uni lecturers will also assume you have a knowledge of either Stage 2 Mathematical Studies or Specialist Mathematics.
