Campus tours, career events and presentations

The following are student liaison services that are available for students and student advisers.

Campus tours

Campus tours can be organised for our City East, City West, Magill, Mawson Lakes, Mount Gambier and Whyalla campuses. Different tours are available for year 10, 11 or 12 students. Classes have the opportunity to see student projects, learning facilities and support services. Meet some friendly staff and students along the way and find out what it is really like to be a university student.

Personal Learning Plan CareerShop presentation

For the past 5 years UniSA has offered a careers program in schools, which aims to assist year 10 students in accessing career and study information. This program, previously called SAVVY, is now the CareerShop Program including a careers-focussed presentation and a personalised website called CareerShop. This year the program was reviewed, renamed and updated to be more aligned to the new Personal Learning Plan (PLP) aspect of SACE.

The PLP is designed to encourage students to make earlier and more informed decisions about their future, having synergies to the aims of the CareerShop Program. The CareerShop Presentation aims to facilitate students' thinking in their personal development, education options and career pathways. The content of the presentation has 3 major parts: encouraging thinking about planning for further education, career pathways which suit the individual, and lastly how to research these areas.

Tertiary Education Panel Presentation (TEPP)

South Australia's three universities and TAFE SA have a long history of supporting South Australian schools through the provision of information about post secondary education.

A TEPP presentation is designed specifically for year 12 students. A representative from UniSA, Adelaide University, Flinders University and TAFE SA will present a combined presentation regarding the different study options after secondary school.

A SATAC representative has been appointed to assist in the coordination of these activities on behalf of the South Australia's tertiary institutions. Please click on the below link to request a TEPP presentation at your school.
