Student liaison services

The following are student liaison services that are available for students/student advisers. For bookings or more information, contact our student liaison staff.

Career and parent information evenings

UniSA staff and students can, on invitation, attend your career and/or parent evenings.

Counsellors' sessions

In 2008 our counsellor session was held on Wednesday 4 June 2008 at the City West campus. The session covered information about new programs, new initiatives and information pertaining to Open Day, Scholarships the SAVVY program and CareerShop. Resources from the evening include the presentation and Counsellors toolkit.

Counsellor's toolkit

The Counsellor's toolkit contains information that is designed specifically for counsellors (information about speciality study areas involved in UniSA programs and a list of related programs).

Campus tours

Campus tours can be organised for our City East, City West, Magill and Mawson Lakes campuses. Different tours are available for year 10, 11 or 12. Tours can also be arranged for the Whyalla campus by contacting Mark Gorringe on 8302 5143 or email mark.gorringe@unisa.edu.au.

University of South Australia presentation

A University of South Australia presentation can be provided to your students. The presentation contains information about career pathways and UniSA programs, entry requirements and support services. A standard presentation with some discussion time will take approximately 45 minutes but it can be modified for different requirements. The presentation can be tailored for year 10, 11 or 12 and can be made at your school or you can arrange to have the presentation on a university campuse. At year 10 level the presentation is focused on career pathways and by year 12 it focuses on university options.

Savvy presentation

The savvy presentation is designed for year 10 students but can be presented to year 11 students as well, or year 9 students at the end of the school year. The presentation covers career options and identification of student interests and strengths. Students can join CareerShop, an interactive online portal providing career and study information.

Presentations to international students

If your school has an international cohort, a representative from our International Students Office can  speak with your students about their study options and entry requirements for UniSA. To arrange a speaker, contact student liaison staff.

Open Day

Open Day is an opportunity for you and your students to get first hand information about studying at UniSA from staff and students.
