If you are 18 years of age or over before 1 February of the year in which you wish to enrol and 1 July for midyear entry, you may be eligible to apply for entry under the University's Special Entry Scheme for all programs except Laws (and Laws double degrees.)

For Bachelor of Laws (including the double degrees), the rules are as above except that TAFE/ RTO award applicants are also eligible to apply for Special Entry.

STAT tests

Tests are held every year in Adelaide and regional centres in South Australia and the Northern Territory to coincide with midyear and end of year entry to university. The STAT test will be held on Sunday November 22 2009. Call SATAC on 8224 4000 for details. The test consists of 70 multiple choice questions designed to measure your ability to think critically and make sense of the material presented.

For application forms and fees to sit STAT, phone SATAC on 8224 4000 or check SATAC UniWeb. The SATAC Uni Guide is available at newsagents from August onwards.

You must lodge your application before the end of May (for midyear entry), or September (for the following year entry) to avoid late fees to SATAC, 104 Frome Street, Adelaide SA 5000 or online.

Personal competencies and employment experience

For many UniSA programs, a personal competencies statement and evidence of employment experience will be considered in the assessment process and can enhance your STAT rank, see the SATAC Uni Guide for details.
