Alternative pathways

You may qualify for adult entry to study at UniSA if you have:

 

Foundation Studies

Foundation Studies is a new UniSA program available for entry in 2006 which replaces UniSA’s previous Information Technology, Science and Engineering and Whyalla Bridging Programs and the Diploma in University Studies.

UniSA PAL

UniSA and four adult re-entry schools offer a Preparation Program for Adult Learners. The program will prepare you for university study in a range of undergraduate degree programs at UniSA.

People with a disability

If you have been educationally disadvantaged as a result of a disability there are additional methods of entry.

Open Universities Australia (OUA)

You may be eligible for entry to University of South Australia if you have completed at least four Open Universities Australia units at the appropriate level. Alternatively, you can study degree programs or individual units offered by the University of South Australia through Open Universities Australia. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders

If you are an Indigenous Australian, UniSA recognises that you may have not had sufficient support or opportunities in the education system to be able to satisfy the usual university entry requirements. Summer schools and UniSA's foundation program are available to assist you to prepare for entry into UniSA programs.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people may also be interested in undertaking UniSA's Foundation Studies.

Special entry provisions are also available. Every division has a sub-quota for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. For further information call 8302 6703 or visit the Indigenous Support Unit website.
