Workflow
Workflow has been completely re-written. The implications of this are that:
- Users will be able to more effectively control who can authorise what; and
- Approval of requisitions is greatly enhanced.
For example, suppose a user creates a requisition in Finance One to purchase a computer for $6,000. The User's authorisation limit is $5,000, so the system looks up from Workflow the name of the person to whom the requisition should be referred, and emails that person. The User can open the email, click an icon therein and open "My Workflow" (this person need not have Finance One installed on their PC, but must be defined in the system as a user). What they will see is this -

Double-clicking the item will open this window (the details in this window are different, but you get the idea):

The supervisor can then click on one of the four options at the bottom of the screen, or get more details with one of the other tabs. If approved, this screen opens:
