First, the bad news. 10.2 comes with a brand-new method of organising user menus. This makes it much easier for F1 admin staff to maintain these menus. However, the downside is that menus now take a lot longer to load. This means that each time you start 10.2 you can expect to wait significantly longer before you see the menu structure.
From a user's viewpoint this is not a major upgrade. Most of the changes occur behind the scenes - for example, this version is the first with no "classic" screens. Having said that, there are two major enhancements:
1. It comes with a brand new credit card management module. It is hoped that this will replace FlexiPurchase, hopefully some time next year. There are many advantages with having such a system integrated with Finance One, not the least of which is that interfaces (which usually have many problems) are eliminated.
2. Workflow has been completely re-written from the ground up. Click here for more details
Crystal has not changed. However, the front-end screen for reports has changed:

XLOne has been enhanced. You can now create custom transaction reports (previously you could only drill down from account balances to a hard-coded transaction screen):

There's nothing new in 10.2 with EIE, but we're going to encourage users to use EIE 2000 a lot more. It's a very flexible and powerful enquiry system, and better than EIR standard because you can open multiple ledgers and create user-defined calculation (e.g. variation) columns.
