Safety house
The University has become a member of the Safety House Association and each campus is being designated as a Safety House.
This follows a decision by the University to support the South Australian Police Department's community policing through participation in the Safety House Program.
You will notice the distinctive Safety House signage strategically placed on your campus.
Security staff on each campus, who are on duty 24 hours a day every day of the year, and who all hold current senior first aid certificates, will be responsible for providing assistance under this scheme. We seek your cooperation in contacting security staff on your campus if you are asked for assistance by anyone utilising our Safety House status.
