UniSafe escorts
The Security team on each Campus will escort any person from any
location on Campus to their vehicle in the car park or to public
transport locations near by and to approved student accommodation.
At City Campuses Security staff will also escort students to accommodation blocks at North Adelaide and within the square mile of the City. City Campuses Security is assisted by UniSafe drivers (students who have undergone a strict selection process and who hold Senior First Aid certificates) to provide escorts by vehicle.
To be escorted go to the Security Office on your campus, call them from any of the Security Call Points or dial 88 888 on any internal Phone.
Security Escorts are a service to enable you to make your way off campus in a safe and secure manner. They are designed as a "first step" in reaching your final destination and do not replace your individual responsibility to make appropriate arrangements for your safe and private travel, designed to help you reach a safe departure point for your main transport option, and to offer this service to as many people as possible.
During Semester and Exams
During the semester and exams, UniSafe escorts are operated on demand between the hours of 8PM and 2AM, Monday to Friday:
Weekends, Public Holidays and Semester Breaks
During semester breaks, holidays, and weekends security unisafe escorts are operated between the following times: (This service is not offered during the mid year break and ends as soon as practicable following the end of year exams)
- Monday to Friday: On every hour between 8PM and 2AM
- Saturday and Sunday. On the hour between the hours of 8PM and 2AM
- Public Holidays. On the hour between the hours of 8PM and 2AM

Security Escorts will be available only within the guidelines as stated above.
Security Escorts are for UniSA students who present their current UniSA ID Card.
Security Escorts are for UniSA students who are not under the obvious influence of alcohol or drugs as determined by the Security Officer.
From time to time this service may not be possible due to availability of staff, whilst every effort is made we apologise for the inconvenience at those times.
