Mr Dominic Marafioti

Dominic Marafioti is a Campus Facilities Manager, at UniSA. He has worked in Facilities Management at UniSA, for 18 years. During the last 8 years as member of the FM Executive Management Team, he has been constantly aware that we must continuously improve facilities management delivery by investigating and adopting contemporary principles and ideas. He believes it is fundamental to work collaboratively, focusing on the strategic issues facing the university, whilst ensuring the delivery of effective customer service and best practice facilities management to support its goals and objectives.

Dominic is a Justice of the Peace, he was appointed to the TEFMA (Tertiary Education Facilities Management association) Board in 2005 and continues as director , was a founding member of the Tertiary Education Cardax Users Group and is a member of the AETM (Association of Educational Technology Managers). He firmly believes that FMU staff have a key role in shaping and supporting the strategic and operational facilities management issues facing the University.

Dominic's role in FMU has Uniwide responsibility for the operational and strategic delivery of a range of services and direct management of operations of the Magill & Mawson Lakes campuses.

 

Mr Justin Faggotter

Justin joined UniSA in 2002, Commencing as a security officer for the Facilities Management Units predecessor Campus Services. In 2004 Justin was seconded to the Senior Security Officer position which included the transition and management of an external security service provider for the Underdale Campus. Although technically still involved with UniSA Justin obtained a position as a Facility Manager for 13 months with the service provider who supplies Maintenance and Porterage services to UniSA prior to his return in 2007. Justin's current position is the Campus Facilities Coordinator Mawson Lakes for The Facilities Management Unit.

Justin's responsibilities include the operational management and coordination of security, grounds maintenance, cleaning and maintenance activities on campus. With his sound knowledge of facilities management and understanding of the teaching, learning and research activities on campus Justin is able to provide both operational and technical knowledge to campus projects and activities related to the Campus Community.

 

Mrs Pauline Middleton

Pauline was employed with Telecom Australia and The Woomera Board prior to commencing her employment with UniSA in 1991. She has worked at the Salisbury campus, Magill campus and presently at the Mawson Lakes campus.

Pauline is currently responsible for the administrative portfolios which include Sports Centre, Mawson Lakes Security day to day operations,  Mail Services, Hughes Limousines, Corporate Express and Cabcharge across all campuses and the operation and management of the Mawson Lakes Campus Services administrative functions.

 

Christina Coleiro

Christina Coleiro is a Senior Project Manager with the Facilities Management Unit of UniSA. Until recently in the role of Campus Project Manager she has lead project teams in the delivery of major and minor capital development on the Mawson Lakes Campus including campus master planning. Christina is passionate about developing facilities that meet and exceed the changing needs of their end users. She is committed to exploring new models and new innovations for experiential learning and teaching facilities.

Christina was responsible for the delivery of projects such as The Mawson Centre, Garth Boomer Building, Mawson Institute Building and Experience 1 Studio.

She is currently responsible for leading the project team in the delivery of the HEEF funded M2 Project. This major new building M2 Building and its significant landscape space The Plasso is expected to be at the cutting edge of education and research facilities. Briefed on the premise of establishing a strong Teaching Learning Research nexus, it draws on the outcomes and learnings from Experience 1 Studio. This new facility will include two significant experiential learning and teaching hubs.

 

Ivana Glavinic May

Position: Project Manager: Mawson Lakes

Ivana joined UniSA in October 2008 as a Project Manager for the Capital Development Group. She is an Interior Architect with postgraduate qualifications in Project Management. Prior to joining UniSA Ivana worked for the South Australian Government on property and facilities management projects, as well as on planning and design of major infrastructure projects for South Australia.


Until recently Ivana held the role of Campus Project Manager for City West, Magill and Regional campuses (Whyalla and Mount Gambier). As part of this role Ivana managed a portfolio of major and minor building/refurbishment projects, coordination of capital works and campus master planning.


Currently Ivana is working closely with the Director: FMU, on high level planning of future major and minor projects for UniSA.


Ivana is passionate about providing professional project management services on projects that fulfil needs and exceed expectations of all stakeholders. She is committed to exploring new and innovative solutions for delivery of learning and teaching facilities for staff and students of UniSA.
