Pay and display electronic ticket machines – Magill and Mawson Lakes
Due to increasing parking pressures at the Mawson Lakes campus and to
ensure consistency of student parking arrangements on the Magill and Mawson
Lakes campuses, UniSA will be introducing Pay & Display meter parking for
unreserved parking areas at Mawson Lakes in 2007. The intentions behind the
introduction of the Pay and Display meters are:- To alleviate any tensions associated with equitable parking in the unreserved areas.
- To encourage the use of public transport usage thereby promoting sustainable transport systems.
- To have consistent parking arrangements for students on the suburban campuses at Magill and Mawson Lakes.
Pay and Display parking will operate between the hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday throughout Study Periods 2 to 7 of the Academic Calendar, inclusive of official teaching breaks. The cost to park on campus will be 10 cents per hour to a maximum of $1.00 per day. The purchase of a Pay & Display Ticket from Mawson Lakes will entitle the holder to park on the Mawson Lakes campus in the Unreserved Car parks, if there is a park in that area.
