Maintenance operations
- The Maintenance Operations Group provides a maintenance and porterage service to the University.
- Responsibilities include project management of major maintenance works, contractor management, maintenance planning and quality assurance.
- The Maintenance Operations Group goals include the maintenance of a safe, secure, hygienic, functional environment that fits the needs of the University business, culture and style.
Staff
There is a Maintenance Operations Group team member at each metropolitan
campus, with the responsibility of ensuring that all systems and services
operate in accordance with campus requirements, and that scheduled and
unscheduled daily maintenance tasks are performed in accordance with
University standards. Maintenance Operations staff are supported by
Engineering and Building experts from within the University and the broader
consulting community.
A centralised team of Maintenance Engineers and Builders at 101 Currie
Street and Mawson Lakes Campus provide strategic and operational support for
planning and delivering maintenance projects at all campuses.
