Per capita Australians are the 4th largest consumers of energy on
the planet (source: World Bank).
UniSA has made a commitment to
reducing this rate of consumption through its teaching and learning
initiatives (see below for links), but we also need to set an
example of how reduction of consumption
can be achieved.
In 2001, UniSA signed the
Greenhouse
Challenge and made a commitment to reduce its
annual
greenhouse gas emissions by 28% or by 6801 tonnes of CO2. If
