Room Booking

Teaching rooms for standard full semester teaching need to be booked via your school timetable representative. One-off bookings in teaching rooms for any purpose can be booked via the online request or by contacting the Campus Services/Security office on the campus where the room is located.

Students wishing to book teaching rooms will need to route the booking through their School using the Online Booking system (see below).

Each campus has meeting rooms of various sizes. To book a room complete this on-line request or contact the Campus Services/Security office on the relevant campus and the staff will assist you.

The Aroma Cafe/The Caf on campus can provide refreshments for your meeting, please contact them directly.

Campus Services/Security provides an audio visual support service for all audio visual equipment located in general purpose teaching and meeting rooms to facilitate the teaching and learning activities of the University. The audio visual equipment includes fixed items as listed below:

  • Dual Globe Overhead Projectors
  • Televisions and VCR units
  • DVD units
  • Computers
  • Notebooks / Data Projectors
  • Slide Projectors
  • Projection Screens
  • Whiteboards
  • Microphone, Speaker and Stand
  • Electronic Whiteboard
  • Campus Services/Security has portable notebook/data projector units. The laptop is maintained by the Information Strategy & Technology Services Unit (ISTS). These units are available on each campus to be booked. One portable DVD unit is also available at each campus.

    Equipment for Loan

    Campus Services/Security (formerly Campus Services)  supplies the following Audio Visual equipment (that is not already fitted) to General Purpose Teaching Spaces and Meeting Rooms (subject to availability only). Please note that this equipment is not allowed to be taken off campus. Contact your Campus Services/Security for further details.
