There is a minimum charge for the use of these facilities to non affiliated student groups and external hirers.
If you are a student and wish to book the barbecue facilities you will be required to submit a CS12 – Student Group/Club/Society Function Approval form to Campus Services via Campus Central for approval. It is recommended the CS12 Student Group/Club/Society form be submitted at least 1 week prior to the event.
Staff who wish to book the barbecue facilities are required to submit a CS53 Staff Function Approval form to Campus Services for approval. It is recommended the CS53 Staff Function Approval form be submitted at least 1 week prior to the event.
It is imperative that all users have read the Electric Barbecue Usage Agreement and the Food Act 2001 to meet the requirements of the Australian New Zealand Food Standards Code. Please refer to the Department Health website (http://www.dh.sa.gov.au/pehs/Food/food-charities.htm).
If permission to consume alcohol is required, you must complete the relevant section on either the CS12 or CS53 and forward to the relevant Campus Facilities Manager. An Application for a Limited Liquor Licence may also be required to be submitted to the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner at least 14 days prior to the event for approval, you will also need to ensure that you allow the relevant Campus Facilities Manager sufficient time to approve this request.
