Audio Visual Support
Please call
88555 from any general purpose teaching space or lecture theatre for any
assistance required or to report a fault.
Divisional IT
staff on each campus provide audio visual support Monday to Friday
8.30am to 5.00pm during teaching weeks and will respond to all audio visual
equipment faults or problems of a technical nature reported by University
staff. Divisional IT staff are
responsible for:
· attending all audio
visual callouts for remedial action
· updating all audio
visual faults and problems via HPSD
· ensuring repairs are
carried out as required or reported to IT Helpdesk staff via HPSD to
arrange external service provider
After Hours AV
support staff is available during teaching periods, Monday to Friday 5.00pm
to 8.30pm to support teaching activities and can be contacted via the normal
88555 number from any general purpose teaching room using the AV phone
located in the room.
Divisional IT
staff can provide instructions regarding the use of audio visual
equipment.
FMU is responsible for the design specifications and installation of Audio
Visual equipment in
general purpose teaching and meeting rooms across the University.
FMU staff will
ensure all audio visual equipment located in general purpose teaching and
meeting rooms is maintained and audited on a regular weekly basis during
teaching periods and action any faults found.
Quarterly services of the audio visual equipment in general purpose
teaching and meeting rooms is coordinated by FMU via an external service
provider.
Special events, community engagement activities, conferences or seminars
arranged by Divisions, Schools or Units that require AV support staff will
need to arrange this with their Divisional or School IT staff can
arrange an external service provider which will be at the
Division/School/Unit expense.
