Campus Operations can also assist staff in moving offices, setting up rooms, re-arranging furniture, assisting with heavy deliveries and other general maintenance work.

Capital Development Group (CDG)
The Capital Development Group has responsibility for aligning the physical environment to UniSAs service delivery objectives. As such, CDG manages major and minor campus development including construction of new buildings and a variety of both large and small refurbishment projects.
The
campus development projects are guided by the development and maintenance of Campus Master Plans.
The Group has a mix of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Senior
Project Officers and Project Officers that have a range of specific campus-based responsibilities or project-based responsibilities on University
Campuses. Senior Project Managers and Project Managers are
assigned responsibility for oversight and co-ordination of planning and
capital development activities for particular campuses (including Regional
Engagement Facilities at Whyalla and Mt Gambier).
Maintenance Operations Group (MOG)
The Maintenance Operations Group provides building fabric, building services, infrastructure, plant and equipment maintenance services to the University. These services are supported by a Customer Service Request (CSR) function, and are underpinned by an asset information and data network for all campuses.
A MOG team member is situated at each metropolitan campus, each with the
responsibility of ensuring that Mechanical and Electrical plant and systems
operate in accordance with compliance regulations and customer requirements,
and that maintenance tasks are performed in accordance with University
standards.
MOG also has staff specialising in Engineering and Building works providing
strategic and operational support for planning and delivery of programmed
maintenance projects on all campuses.

Business Operations Group (BOG)
The Business Operations Group ensures the effective running of the Facilities Management Unit by managing, monitoring and evaluating the Units performance and activities.
BOG undertakes activities such as OHSW&IM, risk management, maintaining the FMU website, developing policies and procedures, internal and external auditing, reviews, contractor management, strategic planning and reporting. BOG also contains the following functions: HR and Environmental Management:
HR manages all HR related issues for the Facilities Management Unit and for facilities management staff on each campus, such as recruitment and selection, induction, performance management and training and development.
Environmental Management ensures that environmental initiatives are developed and implemented. This area also monitors performance in meeting environmental targets with emphasis on the University's 2020 carbon reduction emission plan. Environmental management also reviews guidelines in respect to sustainable development and manages environmental management projects.
Commercial Services
Commercial Services manages contracts with commercial service providers (e.g. Campus bookshops, cafs etc) to ensure optimal and continuous service provision for the University. It also looks after leasing and property related matters, including tenancy agreements, valuation, disposal and acquisition of assets, refurbishment/minor capital works projects and the University's in-plant printery, Document Services.
