Welcome to the Facilities Management Unit
The Facilities Management Unit was formed in January 2007 as a result of the merger of two
major Administrative Units - Services and Property. With this merger, the
Facilities Management Unit (FMU) became one of the largest Administrative
Units in the University.
FMU comprises of 5 groups:
- Campus Operations Group
- Capital Development Group
- Maintenance Operations Group
- Business Operations Group
- Commercial Services
These five groups enable the Unit to provide support to the University's teaching, research and support functions.
