Selection process

Once you submit your exchange application to UniSA International it will be processed as quickly as possible. The first step of the selection process is approval by UniSA. In assessing your application UniSA International will examine your academic record, your statement of purpose and your academic reference. If you are accepted you will be sent a letter of offer, this letter will also indicate how much your travel grant will be. You should expect to hear from us 3 - 6 weeks after the application deadline.

The second step of the process is when your application is sent to the host institution for assessment. If you are accepted by the host institution you can then start to organise your travel arrangements. UniSA International will send out an exchange contract for you to sign. You should return this as soon as possible so that your travel grant funds can be transferred into your nominated bank account.

You will also need to organise your credit transfer by filling in a Student Exchange - Course Approval Form (PDF 180kb - download Adobe Acrobat). If your application is successful, you should read through the Once You've Been Approved and pre-departure information on this website and go to the pre-departure session organised by UniSA International. You will then be ready to start your international adventure!
