To undertake the engineering programs offered, students should have an enquiring mind with good verbal and written communication skills. Students should be interested in science as well as social, administrative and management issues. The programs have a prerequisite of Mathematical Studies and assumed knowledge in Physics.

Technology study strand of the UniSA Foundation Studies Program
as an alternative method of entry into engineering, civil aviation
and science programs.
