International links
The School has developed its international links with teaching
and research institutions. These include:
Okayama
University, Faculty of Engineering, Japan (Professor N.
Takahashi). Co-operation agreement was signed in 1995. A
Collaborative Project Grant of Japanese Ministry of Education has
been obtained for joint research in the field of energy saving
materials and technologies.
Seoul National University,
Department of Electrical Engineering, Korea (Prof S-Y Hahn and
Professor H-K Jung). Co-operation agreement was re-signed in 1996. A
Bilateral Science and Technology Program on Integrated Design
Methodologies is in progress.
Kanazawa University,
Japan, Laboratory of Magnetic Field Control and Applications (Prof.
S. Yamada). Exchange of postgraduate students has taken place. Joint
projects on biomedical effects of magnetic fields and magnetic field
characterisation are being accomplished.
Lublin Technical University
, Poland. Departments of Fundamental Electrical Engineering
(Professor T. Janowski) and Computer Science (Professor S.
Grzegorski, Dr M. Milosz). Co-operation agreement was signed in
1997.
