UniSA Graduate - SA's Best Young Engineer


UniSA School of EIE Graduate, Ha Do, has been awarded Young Professional Engineer of the Year for 2007 by Engineers Australia SA. As chair of the Women in Engineering Group SA, an active member of the Young Engineers Committee and the Engineers Australia SA Division Committee, Ha Do graduated with a double degree in electronics and microengineering (honours) and commerce. Ha works tirelessly to raise the profile of women in engineering and actively promotes and encourages female high school students to take up the profession.

Final Year Projects at EIE

Find out about the exciting design projects our undergraduate engineering students participate in during their final year of study. Final Year Projects give students the opportunity to extend their skills and knowledge by giving them practical experience in their related engineering  field. Many of the student design projects are industry sponsored and conducted within the School’s research concentrations, familiarizing students with modern research practices. UniSA Aviation renews Shark Patrol contract

After a successful summer in 2005 of keeping metropolitan waters safe, UniSA’s Aerial Shark Patrol has renewed their contract with SAFECOM (South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission). Run in conjunction with the State Emergency Services (SES), the UniSA Aviation Academy are delighted to be involved with the Aerial Shark Patrol program again this summer.

SMS(Science and Mathematics School)@UniSA


The School offers the physics component of this program which involves students studying Year 12 science and mathematics at the Mawson Lakes campus. University facilities are made available for students to utilise in their studies and applied physics staff provide specialist teaching on applications of applied physics.
