It enables you to develop and use skills, competencies, knowledge and personal attributes that are the basis of successful careers and lives.
The University of South Australia offers the largest breadth of Education programs in South Australia, spanning the range from early childhood to adult education. These programs are distinguished by their high quality, innovative nature, and close bonds with the education sector.
The School of Education will further enhance its reputation through the introduction of a suite of new programs in 2005. These are attuned to the dynamic world of education in their flexibility and innovation, providing an even greater choice in career paths. Early childhood and junior primary-primary programs will build upon their highly-regarded traditions of excellence at the Magill Campus, while the modern and dynamic Mawson Lakes Campus will be the venue for exciting developments in primary/middle years, secondary and adult education programs.
The School of Education is proud to continue the tradition of offering the Anangu Tertiary Education Program (AnTEP) to Anangu students living in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara lands (APY Lands) in the north-west of South Australia, Yalata on the west coast of South Australia, as well as Oak Valley in the Maralinga Tjarutja Lands.
The AnTEP program offers two awards:
Diploma in Education (Anangu Education) -
LDAG
Diploma of Teaching (Anangu Education) -LBAE
Undergraduate programs
We offer a range of undergraduate programs. These are best suited for those who have not undergone a previous university degree.

Post-Graduate programs
Our Masters programs are an initial teacher education award offered to postgraduate students which provides a single coherent academic/training career path. Entry into these programs requires a previous degree, Masters programs provide core education courses only and are intensive programs generally taught over two years or a year and a half.
