The School of Education (Magill and Mawson Lakes) is one of the largest Schools in the University with over seventy staff. We offer wide range of programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and research higher degrees are offered. Our programs span early childhood, schooling, and adult education.
Our academic staff are involved with local, national and international communities.
Our staff are also involved in funded research projects involving areas including: literacy assessment, the teaching of reading, cyber-bullying, teacher resilience, workplace change, public purposes of schools, parents' networks, literacy coaching, the new SACE, play
and early childhood, citizen science, new directions in VET policy and practice, teaching English to new arrivals, university outreach and aspirations, practitioner inquiry, antiracism and pedagogy, and the digital world for university TESOL.
