The Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences is deeply committed to research and research education and has extensive national and international research links. It has a strong record in winning national competitive grants (see grant awardees) and in working collaboratively with employers, professional groups and industry partners. It also has approximately 450 Higher Degree by Research candidates undertaking exciting and innovative research in one of our five schools or research concentrations.
Associate Professor Joanne Cys is the Dean: Research & Research Education in the Division and assists Heads of School and leaders of research concentrations with research development planning in their areas of responsibility, including the provision of academic leadership in research and the development of a strong research culture within the Division.
