Business Development
The Business Development Manager: International is responsible for the international marketing and promotion of the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences and for developing international business which adds value to the Division and attracts income. The incumbent works with strategic partners to identify and develop international business opportunities and to ensure these opportunities are aligned with the University of South Australia’s strategic directions. This position is also responsible for quality assurance in the management of transnational programs within the University’s ISO9001 accredited Project Quality System.
The Business Development Manager: International is accountable for working with Heads of School to assess, plan, and develop international opportunities given the current and developing strengths of each School, including the development and implementation of long term and annual plans for international student recruitment, through:
- providing market intelligence, risk analysis and reports
- negotiating and finalising business proposals and contracts which meet University quality assurance requirements
- marketing and promoting the Division’s programs in its key markets
