Internationalisation in the Division
Introduction
The Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences enjoys a vibrant
international culture and the development of international perspectives
among students and staff is a
cornerstone of our academic life.
We warmly welcome students from abroad and we encourage our local students to undertake study abroad whenever possible. These arrangements are facilitated by agreements with universities in many parts of the world. Staff across the Division regularly teach students in offshore locations such as Singapore and Hong Kong, and we welcome many of our offshore graduates to Adelaide to attend their graduation ceremonies along with their Australian-based fellow students.
The Division supports a range of further international activities including international conferences and seminars, an international student mentor scheme, and offshore alumni chapters.
The Business Development Manager: International fulfils an important entrepreneurial and relationship building role, complemented by the focus of the Dean: Teaching, Learning and International who supports and develops the Division’s quality assurance and improvement processes for transnational teaching and learning.
